Daddy Dave and Olivia put up the Christmas Tree tonight!
We finished dinner and took our glasses of wine up to the living room where we began by lighting a nice coal fire. I played a cheesy Christmas carol CD while we gathered all the bits and bobs together.
The fairy lights still worked from last year too. It was a magical and heart-warming evening. When we’d finished admiring the tree, Olivia went to bed and went out like a light. When I came back into the living room, Daddy Dave had rocked Baby Dave into a deep slumber too! That left us the rest of the evening to relax in peace.
It’s a wonderful life.
