[Picture of Oli and DP in the piazza inside the Burrell]My favourite museum is falling apart, yet there seems to be plenty of money floating about Glasgow these days. I just don’t get it. I really don’t understand. (more…)

[Our Photo of the Riverside Museum, Glasgow]We were all pretty excited to get along to the brand new Riverside Museum (aka the Transport Museum); there has been a lot of hype, and it was a scorcher of a summer’s day. (more…)

Well, as often happens, life got in the way — and by the time we went on-line to get tickets, it was Sold Out. We were pretty disappointed.

Anyhoo — the gig was tonight, so we got papa and Charlie to babysit, and Ruthie and I nipped along to Candleriggs and got tickets at the door — brilliant tickets, and a pop at just £39 for two. (more…)

[Picture of Hue and Cry tickets for Glasgow ABC]We’d both been really looking forward to the Hue and Cry gig we went to last night, not merely because we don’t get out together very much, but also because we’re both fans from back in the early 1990s.

Ruth and I know every word and (more…)
